Welcome to the Crew Behind Lake Chelan Cookbook!
Roots Community School was created to provide quality, child-centered education in Chelan. We provide project-based, individualized, and comprehensive education for preschool, elementary school, and middle school students.
The Lake Chelan Cookbook is one area of project based learning here at Roots Community School. We’re a passionate bunch here, all working together to bring you the community of Lake Chelan through food. We believe the students behind The Lake Chelan Cookbook are just as important as the actual recipe itself, so we wanted to introduce ourselves and give you a glimpse into who we are!

While our skills range from managing to photography, we all share a passion for seeing recipes from the Lake Chelan Valley coming to life in a cookbook that we can share with the world. Creating the Lake Chelan Cookbook has brought each student together while learning and reaching for a common goal.
